AlgoRitmo is the brainchild of percussionist Peter “Maestro” Vale. The band materialized at a video shoot, for another artist, attended by pianist Brenden Cabrera and drummer Alex Santilli. During soundcheck, the three proceeded to jam. The music was so infectious, the others in attendance did not want the jam to end. An idea was born.

AlgoRitmo was created with the intention of a band free of the usual work that goes into putting a band together. No Music, No Rehearsals, No Pressure. Just show up, listen and create.

Soon after, other elements were put into place. Natalie Lande provided soulful and impactful saxophone. Conor Roe added the much needed bass, however, his style proved to be much more than just basic bass lines.

AlgoRitmo continues to improvise tunes by seamlessly pulling songs, genres and tunes out of thin air. The band has thrilled audiences in and around venues in Chicago. While still a young project, the storied past of the members ensures a first class experience for those in attendance.
